Donald "Barlow" Henry Calvert

Donald Henry “Barlow” Calvert, 88, of Buchtel, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Kimes in Athens. Barlow was born on August 15, 1935, in Buchtel, the son of the late Henry and Clara Calvert.

Barlow had a heart of gold. He enjoyed running errands for people and helping out wherever he could. He also loved to play the guitar and harmonica.

Barlow is survived by his nieces, Brenda Conkel of Buchtel and Pam Howell of Delphos.

Barlow was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray (Mary) Calvert; and sisters, Mary (Sam) Mohney and Kathryn Calvert.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are through the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
