Donna Ann Allison

Donna Ann Allison, 85, of McArthur, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur.  She was born July 15, 1933 in Antigo, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Frank J. and Amanda E. Fust Shimpach.  Donna was the widow of the late Clarence Allison.

She retired from Gorsuch Drug Store and was a member of the McArthur United Methodist Church and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Logan.  Donna enjoyed painting and she earned a 25-year recognition award from Care Methodist Outreach.

Donna is survived by her sister, Ruthie (Tom) Zakel of McArthur; stepdaughters, Beverly J. Allison-Fawcett of Hilliard and Linda (Gregory) LaVelle of Athens; step grandchildren, Daniel (Jaimee) Fawcett of Bristow, Virginia and Conner LaVelle of Athens and nephews, Robin (Donna) Radune of McArthur and Frank Radune of Jackson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine M. Raduen; brother-in-law, Robert Radune and niece, Judy Radune.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 p.m.
