Dorothy Ann Stivison

Dorothy Ann Stivison, age 90 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Logan Care & Rehabilitation in Logan.

Born October 9, 1927 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vere and Agnes Barbara (Shorr) Dalton.

Dorothy retired from Smead Manufacturing Company in Logan after 17 years of service. She was a 1945 graduate of Logan High School and was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Diane Sue Stivison, Lynda Kaye (Jerry “Ike”) Mellinger, and Donna Lee (Jim Mike) Mock all of Logan; one brother, Edward F. Dalton Sr. of Logan; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Stivison (1976); four brothers, Charles “Chuck”, George, Howard, and infant brother Jackie Dalton; and one sister, Mary Margaret “Mimi” Kemper.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Roberts Funeral Home – Logan, Ohio with Deacon Donald A. Robers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until time of service at Roberts Funeral Home.
