Dr. Michael Valentino Manderick, 73-year-old loving father, brother and friend who passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Michael was the third child of Emanuel Valentino Manderick and Anne Elizabeth (Kuzma) Manderick of Wheeling, West Virginia. He spent his childhood growing up in West Virginia, Indiana and Kansas where he graduated from Topeka High School. He served in the United States Navy. Continuing with his education, he attended Kansas State University then on to Washburn University of Topeka. He soon determined after obtaining a degree in business that a career in the business Community was not his calling, so he furthered his education at Cleveland University College of Chiropractic in Kansas City where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. M.V. Manderick opened his first Chiropractic Office in Topeka, Kansas where he practiced for several years prior to moving to McArthur, Ohio where he continued his practice for some 40 or so years before retiring, giving him the opportunity to enjoy traveling.
Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Manderick; mother, Anne E. Manderick and father, Emanuel V. Manderick. His survivors include two sons, Rick (Marilyn and granddaughter, Laura) Manderick and Brian (Matthew) Manderick; two brothers, E.V. (Billie) Manderick and Carl (Tracy) Manderick; six half-sisters; two half-brothers, numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces; devoted friend, Susan Busick, her family and untold numbers of patients and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
