Earl J. Blair, 93, of Logan, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Anna’s Retirement Center, Logan. He was born October 11, 1925 in Logan, son of the late James and Clara Palmer Blair. He was married to Bonnie Miller Blair, who survives.
Earl was retired from General Electric in Logan, a member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene and a United States Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by a son, Tim (Lynnette) Blair of Logan; a daughter, Diana (Carl) Mallon of Logan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Beiter, James (Brandi) Blair of Baltimore and Jonathan Mallon of Omaha, Nebraska; great grandchildren, Isabella and Andrew Beiter; sister, Mary Matthews of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by a wife, Betty Aurand Blair; brothers, Lawrence, Kenneth, William, Pearl and Eugene Blair; sister, Betty Wildermouth and a grandson, Christopher Mallon.
At Earl's request, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 22, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan with Rev. Thomas Gates officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
