Edna D. Guess

Edna D. Guess, 97, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday March 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1923 in Nelsonville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jeff and Bertha Mae Auflick Willis.  She was married to the late William H. Guess, who preceded her in death.

She was retired from Goodyear in Logan, and was a former member of Nelsonville Christian Church.  She enjoyed roller skating as a youth and being outdoors; she also enjoyed crocheting and knitting.  She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Edna is survived by a son, Tom K. (Sharon) Guess of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mark) Odenthal of Canal Winchester, Tommy Guess Jr. of Nelsonville and Cristy (Denny) Duckworth of Canal Winchester; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

A private graveside funeral will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.  Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Wednesday March 24, 2021 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
