Edward E. Kreslin

Edward E. Kreslin, 87, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at his residence in Hocking County, near Carbon Hill. He was born December 3, 1930, son of the late Evelyn Altman Campagna and Robert Kreslin.

Mr. Kreslin served in the Korean War with the United States Army and was a life member of The Plains V.F.W. Post #7174.  He retired as Assistant Postmaster of the Nelsonville Post Office.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Hiles of Bessemer; grandson, Brandon (Sarah) Hiles of Hocking County; great granddaughters, Alexis Hiles and Hannah Hiles; step great grandchildren, Kyler, Lander and Maisey Russell; a brother, whom Eddie raised in his home, William Campagna of Clearwater, Florida; a niece, Trena Campagna of Denver, Colorado and a nephew, Tony Compagna of Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jeff Hiles.

Eddie’s wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.  Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
