Edward E. "Eddie" Walde

Edward E. “Eddie” Walde, 64, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1953 in Springfield, Ohio, son of Joyce Rafferty Walde of Cullman, Alabama, and the late Edward Walde. He resided with his dear friend and long-time companion, Roberta “Bobbie” Nowlin.

He was a Horse Trainer and Jockey. Afterwards, he was co-owner along with Roberta of Angels Cove Cockapoos in Nelsonville.

Along with his mother, Joyce Walde and Roberta, Eddie is survived by his daughter, Angella “Angie” Hatfield of Cullman, Alabama; step-children, Susan (Ralph) Mogan of Grove City, Michael (Michelle) Nowlin of Columbus, Shellie Williams of Grove City, Stacey (Roger) VanHouten of Columbus, Patrick Nowlin of Columbus and Art Garrison of West Jefferson; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Debbie (Don) Clem of Urbana and Penny (Don) Johnson of Murphy, NC; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service with gathering will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
