Eldon Rogers Inboden

Eldon Rogers Inboden, 86, of Logan, passed away January 19, 2023, at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  He was born May 8, 1936, in Hocking County, Ohio, son of the late Perry and Opal Smith Inboden.  Eldon was married to Cecelia Crook Inboden, who survives.

He retired from Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company in Logan.  Eldon loved bluegrass music and finger style picking by Merle Travis and Chet Atkins.  He formerly played music for the Country Rhythm Band, loved his cats and NASCAR racing.

Eldon is survived by his son, Ashley Inboden of Logan; daughter, Lisa (John) Thompson of Logan; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Loren “Buck” Inboden of Logan and Larry (Dolly) Inboden of Logan and a sister, Phyllis Yoder of Lancaster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Tatman; son, Robert Morgan; grandchild, Robert Zartman and sister, Lois Kempton.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2023, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. David Sherman officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 in the Cardaras Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Eldon Rogers Inboden to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
