Eric E. Mcwhorter

Eric E. McWhorter, 37, of McArthur, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Hide-A-Way Hills in Sugar Grove, Ohio.  He was born June 2, 1980 in Chillicothe, son of Brenda McWhorter Collier of McArthur and the late Robert Lowry.

Eric was a tree trimmer for Jeff Butts Tree Service in Laurelville.

He is survived by his children, Savannah McWhorter, Seth McWhorter, Aiden Herrold and Paisley Herrold; brother, David (Heather Hettinger) McWhorter of Adelphi; sister, Stephanie Holstine of McArthur; half brother, Robert (Joni) Lowry of Circleville; half sister, Krissi Lowry of Circleville and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his close cousin, Josh McNichols.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Danny Minton officiating.  Interment will be in Little Mound Cemetery, Ross County.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions are made to them to help with expenses.
