Ervin Lee Starr

Ervin Lee Starr, 81, of Circleville, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital in Athens.  He was born April 27, 1936 in Mount Gay, West Virginia, son of the late Harrison and Florence Burke Starr.  Ervin was married to the late Nellie Irene Camp Starr.

He is survived by a son, Larry Eugene Starr of Circleville; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Harrison (Phyllis) Starr of Hamden and James Starr of McArthur; sister, Louise Carol (Chris) Mitchell of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ervin was preceded in death by his daughters, Tina Starr and Tricia Hamler; one grandson and brothers, Ernest, Clyde, Bob, Tom and Larry Starr.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
