Eugene Coleman

Eugene Coleman, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence.  He was born March 6, 1942 in Pikeville, Kentucky, son of the late Henry and Laverne Coleman.  Eugene was married to the late Betty Ann LeMaster Coleman.

He was a retired truck driver for Baker and Mercer Trucking, a member of the former Mt. Carmel Church in Vinton County and was also a member of the Army National Guard.

Eugene is survived by his sons, Ronald (Mary Lou Stewart) Coleman of McArthur and James Coleman of McArthur; daughters, Donna (Russell) Enderle of Logan, Darlene (Greg) Taylor of Beaver, Mary (Brett Elliott) Perkins of Wellston and Lori (Dane Ross) Coleman of Chillicothe; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Arnold and Ralph Coleman and a sister, Evelyn Coleman.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Minister Danny Minton officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
