Eunice I. Devol, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born October 29, 1934, in Coshocton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Arless Jones and Nellie Parks Jones Touvell. Eunice was the widow of the late Bobby L. Devol.
She attended Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and along with her husband, volunteered at the Smith Chapel Food Bank for many years. Eunice also volunteered at the Foundation Center in Lancaster.
She is survived by her son, Randall (Jessica) Devol of Lancaster; daughter, Sandra (Colin) Stump of Lancaster; grandchildren, David (Pamela) Stump, Monique (Sean) Fox and Jacqueline (Ryan) Nida; great grandchildren, Brooks, Noah, and Elliot; brothers, Vearl Parks of Lynchburg, Virginia and Eugene Jones of Coshocton and a sister, Kathryn Erman of Conesville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eunice was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy and William Jones; sisters, Betty Anne Baumgardner and Linda Kay Worthington and an infant sister, Leota Parks.
A graveside serve will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, with Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. No visitation will be held.
Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Eunice Devol to the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Diana Campbell, 421 E. Second St., Logan, Ohio 43138 or to the Smith Chapel Food Pantry, 1333 E. Front St., Logan.
