Evelyn Jean Frizzell

Evelyn Jean Frizzell, 90, of Chillicothe, passed away April 20, 2018 at her residence.  She was born January 14, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Floyd B. and Beatrice Pritchard Browning.  Evelyn was the widow of the late Frank Leon Frizzell Jr.

She retired from the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe as an LPN and was a member of Locust Grove Church in Vinton County.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Frank B. (Peggy) Frizzell of Circleville; daughters, Patricia Jean Votaw of Chillicothe and Rebecca Ann (Donald) Tinch of Chillicothe; foster son, Randy Houghland of McArthur; grandchildren, Tamma Marie (Bill) Dinsmore of Chillicothe, Laurie (Gene) Bay of Wyoming, Robin (Travis) McElroy of Kansas, Larry L. (Jeanette) Votaw of Columbus; Jeremy (Monica) Frizzell of North Carolina and Seth (Aimee) Frizzell of Chillicothe; twenty five great grandchildren; twenty four great great grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Eileen Womeldorf of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Stephen Votaw and Jennifer Lynn Tinch; sisters, Norma Cooper, Joanne Dugan and June Scott and a brother, William Kennard.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Locust Grove Church, 26521 Locust Grove Rd, Creola, with Pastor William Barnett officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Friday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
