Florence Fleming

Florence Fleming, 91, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Wellston.  She was born December 13, 1930, in Virgie, Kentucky, daughter of the late Malcom and Laura Stewart Fouts.  Florence was the widow of the late Leo Fleming.

She was a seamstress, a cook and a member of Wellston Church of Christ.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Nellie Lee (Paul) Bradshaw of Hamden; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Pricilla) Fouts and Philip (Dot) Fouts, both of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Delcia Ousley and brothers, Kermit, Archie, Arcus and Elvis Fouts.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Minister Irving Everson, of the Wellston Church of Christ, officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
