Fred A. Weaver

Fred A. Weaver, 78, of Creola, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.  He was born July 23, 1940 in Columbus, son of the late Paul and Wilda Thompson Weaver.  Fred was married to Lois Vanover Weaver, who survives.

He retired from the Jackson County Health Department and owned and operated Weaver’s Christmas Tree Farm for 50 years.  Fred was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was a 50 year member of the New England Masonic Lodge in Worthington.

In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his brother, Joseph Paul Weaver of Gahanna.

Private graveside services will be held in Elk Cemetery, McArthur with Pastor Jim Griffith officiating.  No calling hours will be observed.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
