Freda Marie Mccormick

Freda Marie McCormick, 74, of West Union, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Tri Health Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.  She was born July 10, 1945 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Raymond Doris and Emmie Marie Boyer McKee.  Freda was the widow of the late Talmer McCormick.

She is survived by her sons, Ted (Carrie) Bellomy of Chillicothe, Danny Jonas of Peebles, Darrell (Shannon) Jonas of Covington, Kentucky, Brian (Randi) Jonas of West Union and Tim (Jamie) McCormick of Amelia; daughter, Elizabeth (David) Smith of Peebles; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Barb) McKee of Wellston and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David “Davie” Jonas; two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
