Geneva Brady, 103, of Logan, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her residence. She was born December 30, 1919, in Upshur County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Everett and Lois Hiner Hinzman. Geneva was the widow of the late Bernard Dairl Brady.
She was a member of the Hocking Hills Church of Christ and attended the First Church of Christ in Logan.
Geneva is survived by her sons, Galin Brady of Heath, Ohio and Neal (Allison) Brady of Wapakoneta, Ohio; daughter, Jane (Robert) Aspery of Pataskala; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and one great great great granddaughter; sisters, Roberta Fulton of Baden, Pennsylvania, Jean Kelley of Minnesota and Lee Ellen Carpenter of Mt. Holly, North Carolina and daughter-in-law, Sherry Brady of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Sonny” Brady; granddaughter, Karen Brady; brother, Oran Hinzman and sisters, Gertrude Bennett, Melva Goad, Tina Browning and Clara Anderson.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Hocking Hills Church of Christ 28290 Chieftain Drive, Logan, with Kelly Zirkle officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Geneva Brady to the Hocking Hills Church of Christ, 28290 Chieftain Drive, Logan, Ohio 43138.
