Glendon Dale Lowe

Glendon Dale Lowe, 81, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence.  He was born September 7, 1937 in Vinton County, son of the late Emmett and Grace Mossman Lowe.  Glendon was married for 47 years to the late Loretta Bowlby Lowe.

He was a retired mechanic.

Glendon is survived by his son, Dale E. (Cammy) Lowe of Goldsboro, North Carolina; daughters, Christina M. Cowher of McArthur, Sandy M. (David) Bragg of Elyria, Nancy L. (Bobby) Clemons of White City, Kansas, Samantha K. Weaver of Port Orange, Florida and Tammy J. Lowe of Wellston; several grandchildren including Jennifer, Glen and Melissa who lived with him and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, James D. Lowe; great grandchildren, Chaylene Davity Mace and James Dean Bragg and seven brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with Pastor Donald Lamb officiating.  No visitation will be observed.
