Glenn Edward Pinney, 81, of Waverly, formerly of McArthur, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1939, in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Clement E. and Vona Moore Pinney. Glenn was married to Linda Sagar Pinney, who survives.
He retired from Kenworth in Chillicothe after 26 years of service and was a member of Calvary Chapel in Portsmouth.
Glenn is survived by his son, Wesley Pinney of McArthur; daughters, Tamara (Brian) Hubbard of Columbus and Lesa (Doug) Cooperrider of Thornville; stepsons, Brian (Kirsten) Silcott and Brad (Jennifer) Silcott, both of Wavery; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a sister, Dian Bohner of Seattle Washington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Grace; brother, Clyde Pinney and sister, Edith Rose Smith.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, in Keeton Cemetery, Vinton County, with Pastor Joe Bruch officiating. Friends may call at the cemetery on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Glenn Pinney to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Processing Center, PO Box 863765, Orlando, FL 32886.
