Glenn Edward Wollett, 70, of New Plymouth, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Logan Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 9, 1949, in Logan, Ohio, son of the late Raymond and Maggie Thress Wollett. Glenn was married for 48 years to Nita McGlothlin Wollett, who survives.
He was a graduate of Starr-Washington School, a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army, one of the founding members of Starr Township Volunteer Firefighters and he retired from Logan Clay Products. Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was an extremely hard worker who loved to golf.
Glenn is survived by his son, Carl (Heather) Wollett of New Plymouth; daughter, Stacy (Jeff Gillespie) Wollett of New Plymouth; grandchildren, Curtis Myers, Alex Myers, Katie Myers, Alahna Downs and Gracyn Down; brother, Rex (Mabel) Wollett of Logan and aunt, Jean Thress.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. James Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Glenn Wollett to Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, Ohio 43138, to help with expenses.
