Gloria Daubenmire Jackson

Gloria Daubenmire Jackson, 90, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at her daughter’s residence.  She was born February 18, 1927 in Haydenville, daughter of the late William and Clara Lehman Wallet.  Gloria was the widow of the late Nelson Jackson.

She was a retired school bus driver for Logan Hocking Schools.

Gloria is survived by her son, Harold (Mona) Daubenmire of Logan; daughter, Ella Fouch of Sugar Grove; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Donald Wallet of Nashport; daughter-in-law, Janet Daubenmire of Lancaster and a special caregiver, Annie Studer.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Daubenmire; son, Roger Daubenmire; brother, Dean Freeman; sisters, Grace Kline, Eva Freeman, Edith Kline and Arvella Wallet; son-in-law, Dan Fouch Sr. and a great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Daniel Fouch Jr. and Greg Daubenmire officiating.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
