Gregory Laurence Wend

Gregory Laurence Wend, age 61, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 19, 2020.

Gregory was born May 8, 1959 to Gary and Guadalupe (Sanchez)
Wend in Columbus , Ohio.

In addition to his father, Gregory is preceded in death by his son Garrett Lyle Wend.

Gregory is survived by his mother, Guadalupe, brothers: Glenn Stephen and Geoffrey Lee Wend (Shelly), both of Oregon, Ohio; and nephews Gary James and Grant Lucas Wend also of Oregon, Ohio.

Gregory was a devoted member Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  He especially loved his music, attending many live rock concerts with the group Rush always being his favorite to attend.  Gregory was also an avid sports fan.  His favorite teams were the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

Graveside service and inurnment will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 5, 2020 in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 with the Rev. Fr. Matthew Gossett officiating.
