Harold Dean Vaughn

Harold Dean Vaughn, 87, of Canal Winchester, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021.  He was born December 26, 1933, in Hollister, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Isabel Waldeck Vaughn.  Dean was married to Linda Adair Vaughn, who survives.

Dean was the previous co-owner of Hocking Valley Concrete and along with his wife Linda, they owned Vauncrete Inc. in Lancaster.  He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Canal Winchester.

Dean is survived by his daughters, Deanna Vaughn of Columbus, Susan Vaughn of Lancaster, Michelle (John) Morris of Homosassa, Florida, Cindy (Darryl) Vaughn Sims of Canal Winchester and Kathy (David Carpenter) Vaughn of Jackson, Wyoming; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; son-in-law, James Puchan of Galena, Ohio and sister-in-law, JoAnn Vaughn of Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Puchan and brother, William Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Clark Hess officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family suggests that you consider donating blood to the American Red Cross in honor of Dean.
