Haskell Orsbon

Haskell Orsbon, 67, of Nelsonville, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital. He was born November 13, 1954, in Ligon, Kentucky, the son of the late Victor Orsbon and Dallie Justice Thomas.

Haskell will be remembered by his family as a great father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Ashley (Casey) Orsbon of Nelsonville, Alivia (Dwayne) Orsbon of Nelsonville, Anna (John) Orsbon of Nelsonville, and Alicia (Charles) Nungester of Chauncey; sons, Joseph (Ann) Orsbon of Crown City, Ohio, Jerad Shumway of Nelsonville, Hack (Christina) Orsbon of Lakeland, Florida, and Mike Orsbon of Crown City, Ohio; grandchildren, Kylie, Brantley, and Paisley Orsbon, Kayden and Karson Frost, Colton and Ryan Kline, Landon and McKinley Nungester, Joseph and Kendra Congrove, Hailey, Natalie, and Christian Orsbon, Andrew McGuire, Josh Wilson, and Chandra, Madison, Lauren, Jerad, Bentley, and Bella Shumway; brothers, Alvin Orsbon of Nelsonville and Victor Orsbon Jr. of Indiana; father-in-law, William Kirkpatrick of Gallipolis; and sister-in-law, Debbie Orsbon.

Haskell was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Kirkpatrick Orsbon; brother, Kenneth Orsbon; sisters, Lucille (Joe) Murray and Brenda Orsbon.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2022, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.

Contributions may be made, in memory of Haskell, to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
