Helen Ann Minton

Helen Ann Minton, 92, of Gallipolis, formerly of Locust Grove Ridge, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at Holzer Senior Care in Bidwell.  She was born July 28, 1925 in McArthur, daughter of the late Ivan and Fanchion Humphrey Cozad.  Helen was the widow of the late Edsel Leonard Minton.

She was a member of the Locust Grove Church and the Vinton County Gideons.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda (Michael) Corbin of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Corbin of Columbus, Dr. Patrick (Mallory) Corbin of New Orleans and Michael Austin Corbin of Gallipolis; great grandson, Josol Corbin and brothers, Elmer (Marion) Cozad of Marion and Dick (Nancy) Cozad of McArthur.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Locust Grove Cemetery, Vinton County, with Pastor Robert Powell officiating.  Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
