Homer David "Dave" Piatt

Homer David “Dave” Piatt, 72, of Haydenville, passed away Sunday October 18, 2020 at his residence.  He was born July 10, 1948, son of the late Homer Dale and Margaret L. Manley Piatt.  He was married to Gayle Leonhardt Piatt who survives.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran; was a Clerk for the Defense Construction Supply Center in Whitehall and was a past Postmaster in Haydenville. Member of the NRA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jolene R. Nethers of Newark; brothers, Terry (Joyce) Piatt of Heath and Dennis (Cindy) Piatt of Granville; nieces and nephews.

It was the wish of Dave to be cremated and no services will be observed at this time.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan 43138.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Cardaras Funeral Home to help with expenses.
