John Edward White

John Edward White, 73, of Logan, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.  He was born November 26, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of the late James Stanley and Ethel Lewetta Watenpool White.

He was an Army Veteran during the Viet Nam Era; he also retired as an Engineer, and worked for Boeing at Edwards Air Force Base in California.  Member of AM Vets, #1776, Logan, FOE, #2168, Logan, American Legion Post #78, Logan, Moose Lodge, Logan and VFW, #8054 (Life Member), Mt. Gilead, Ohio.

He is survived by his loving companion, Barbara Hinerman of the residence; sister, Dorothy “Dot” (Gary) Fought of Fairhope, Alabama; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Erma Swaim and Elizabeth Bussard; brothers, James and Robert White.

It was the wish of John to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
