James "Rick" Richard Martin

James Richard “Rick” Martin, 31, of Logan, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020.  He was born October 18, 1988 in Athens.

Rick is survived by his father, James Rob Martin of Logan, mother, Kimberly Ann Case Redd; special mother, Rebecca (Ryan) Lynch of Chillicothe; sister, Elizabeth (Josh) Hurst and their daughter, Ava, of Allensville; brother, Kyler (Fantasia) Martin and their son Kyden of Chillicothe and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including, Tara (Josh) Carte of New Plymouth, Tyfeni (Ebaen) Parnell of Logan, Nick (Jennifer) Sparks of Ray; maternal grandparents, Becky (Tony) Sparks of Florida and Roger Case of McArthur and paternal grandmother, Patricia “Patti” Martin of New Plymouth.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James “Jim” Martin.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
