James E. Starr

James E. Starr, 71, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his residence.  He was born March 3, 1947 in Logan County, West Virginia son of the late Harrison and Florence Burke Starr.

James was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons, James Edward Starr and Parker Starr, both of Columbus; brother, Harrison (Phyllis) Starr of Hamden; sister, Louise Carol (Chris) Mitchell of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest, Clyde, Bob, Tom, Larry and Ervin Starr.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
