James W. Tolliver Jr,

James W. Tolliver Jr., 62, of Wellston, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born October 27, 1960, in Nelsonville, the son of Pauline (McCombs) Harris of Logan and the late James W. Tolliver Sr. He was married to Martha (Leach) Tolliver, who survives.

James was a master electrician and enjoyed operating his company J&B Enterprises. He was a most exceptional man and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his mother and wife, James is survived by his daughters, April Tolliver of New Straitsville and Cara Cavett of Carbon Hill; step sons, Jonathan Davis and Daniel Davis; grandchildren, Trevor Tolliver, Destiny Tolliver, Makenzi Blake, Zander Cavett, Kamya Cavett, Isaiah Cavett, Unique Cavett, Harmoni Cavett, Braylee Davis, Anna Davis, Izzy Davis, Caylyn Davis, Conner Davis, and Hunter Davis; sisters, Karla (Dave) Zinn, Michelle (Terry) Bell, Paula (Jeff) Boals, Teresa Tolliver, Amy Tolliver, and Tammy Tolliver; brothers, E.J. (Autumn) Harris, Eddie Tolliver, and Jerry Tolliver.

James was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Cremation will follow the visitation.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of James Tolliver to Cardaras Funeral Home, to help with expenses.
