Janet S. Fisher

Janet Sue Fisher, 86, of Logan, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Janet was born May 17, 1936, in Logan, the daughter of the late Jack and Katherine (Jones) Dexter. She was the widow of the late Rollie “Jeep” Fisher, her husband for 53 years.

Janet was a 1954 graduate of Logan High School. She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Gibisonville. She retired from the Southeast Ohio Foodbank at the age of 81.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Regina Fisher of Logan, Karon Fisher of Logan, Judi Harris of Logan, Sharon Fisher of Reynoldsburg, and Tonya (Clay) Coleman of Lancaster; grandchildren, Tyler (Rebecca) Harris, Trent Harris, Kasee (Andre Palmer) Cannon, and Katee (Jim) Barnes; great grandchildren, Amari Palmer, Julian and Amaya Harris, and Jameson and Jaxson Barnes; brother, Jack (Betty) Dexter of Logan; sister-in-law, Kathy Fisher of Lancaster; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Lawrence Peppers, Richard Peppers, and Charles Peppers; and sister, Doris Jean Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
