Janet Lynn Lent

Janet Lynn Lent, 69, of Rockbridge, passed away on her birthday, Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. Janet was born on February 16, 1956, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles E. “Chuck” and Carol (Fowler) Robinson. She was married to the late John R. Lent.

Janet was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and loved time with her family more than anything. She adored her grandchildren and her doggies. Janet was kind to everyone and she never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Janet is survived by her significant other, Fred Boyd; sons, Dan (Rachelle) Eshelman of Rockbridge and Tim (Jennifer) Eshelman of Logan; grandchildren, Dakota (Rebecca) Stiffarm, Tyler Eshelman, Ryan Eshelman, Sylas Eshelman, Myles Eshelman, Alexandrea Eshelman, Madilynn Tipple, and Maleah Eshelman; sister, Rebecca Sue (Mike) Sagar of Ashland; nieces, Lisa and Cierra; aunt, Nancy Clark of Gallipolis; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Rev. Steve Hubbard officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Family and friends may visit from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
