Janet M. Harris, 77, of Logan, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 18, 1946, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Hugh and Iva Inboden Daubenmier.
Janet retired as a paralegal after 30 years of service. She attended New Hope United Methodist Church, was a member of the Hocking Hills Senior Center and was a 1963 graduate of Logan High School. She loved seeing everyone and enjoyed bird watching and her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Bonnie) Harris of Logan and Brian (Paula) Harris of Racine; daughter, Deidre (Vinny) Goss of Logan; grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Jillian, Robert, Thomas, Cody, Anna, Travis and Nikki; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Hartman of Lawrence, Kansas and Valerie Daubenmier of Logan; special brother-in-law, Roger Harris of Logan; special great niece, Jill Tackett of Albany and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Harris and brother-in-law, Don Snyder.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Steve Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Janet M. Harris to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Hocking Hills Senior Center, 187 S. Spring St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
