Janice Eileen Sparks

Janice Eileen Sparks, 77, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at her residence.  She was born September 23, 1943, in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of the late Curtis R. Bledsoe and Mildred I. Bevard Bail.  Janice was the widow of the late Glenn C. Sparks, who passed away June 9, 2013.

She was a member of the McArthur VFW Post #5299 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Calvary Assembly of God in McArthur.

Janice is survived by her son, Kenneth Randall “Randy” (Kayla) Snider of Jackson; daughter, Kelly (Stephen) Quin of Baltimore; stepdaughter, Teresa Shirkey of Columbus; grandchildren, Stephen (Jillian) Quin Jr., Christopher Quin, Jordan Quin, Zeplyn Slucher Snider, Ryan Shirkey, Dominic Sparks, Rachel Holt and Gary Holt; great-grandchildren, Serenity Rose Quin, Lilian Grace Quin, Kieran Sparks and Astoreth Sparks; sisters, Judy Bledsoe of Columbus and Marilyn (John) Snider of McArthur and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband who passed away in 2018, Kenneth F. Snider and her sister, Joyce Wilbur.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2020 in the Calvary Assembly of God, 849 US-OH 50, McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  Interment will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2020, in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd., Canal Winchester.  Friends may call at the Calvary Assembly of God on Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
