Janice E. Wolfe, 84, formerly of McArthur, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, at her granddaughter’s home in Wellston. She was born April 11, 1938, in Radcliff, Ohio, the daughter of the late Stace and Flora (Nelson) Peck. She was the widow of the late Curtis Wolfe.
Janice attended Radcliff Fellowship Chapel and she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in The Plains,
Janice is survived by her sons, Daniel Johnson of California, Terry Johnson of The Plains, and Nick Johnson of The Plains; daughters, Cheryl (Douglas) Kern of Rittman Ohio, Stacia (Craig) Courtney of The Plains, Katina Johnson of Athens, and stepdaughter Beverly Amerine of Adelphia; grandchildren, Angela Manz, Trish Robinette, Bobbie Jo Sayers , Misty Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Dakota Johnson, T.J. Hooper, Mallory Doughty, Megan Doughty, Shyla Johnson, Jeff Carper, and Tara Carper; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband; Janice was preceded in death by her son, Randy Johnson; step daughter, Kelly Wolfe; stepson, Tony Wolfe; grandchild, Jody Blevins; and sisters, Frances Quick, Bertha Jeffers, Bonnie Spears, Betty Welker, Anna Lou Essman, and Margie Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Radcliff Cemetery, Radcliff. Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
