Jean L. Jones

Jean L. Jones, age 91, entered Heaven Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  Daughter of the late Galvin and Lillian Hellyer Wilson, she graduated from Murray City High School in 1945.

Jean began her career at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, and eventually transferred to Edwards Air Force Base in California.  Continuing her graduation in Intelligence, she received a GS 11 and promoted to Senior 11 in the National Cryptologie School and Applied Cryptological Science.  She retired from the Federal Government as a Certified Cryptologist.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Brierley, brothers, Pvt. Robert Wilson who was killed in WWII and Richard Wilson and sister, Lillian Ruth Schultz.

Survived by her sisters, Kaye (Dave) Mettes, Anne (Don) Wirth, Marianne Brooks and Judy Helber, daughter-in-law, Melonie Brierley, grandchildren, Kelli and Zachary and great grandchildren, Cassie and Sebastian.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
