Jean Mcmillin

Jean McMillin, 99, of Logan, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Main Street Terrace in Lancaster. She was born on December 21, 1922, in Haydenville, the daughter of the late Samuel and Charlotte (Hammond) Hiles. She was married for 69 years to the late Allen R. McMillin Sr.

Jean took great pride and love in caring for her home and family. She enjoyed reading her bible every day. She also enjoyed gardening and maintaining a beautiful yard.

Jean is survived by her son, Allen R. McMillin Jr.; special niece, Jan Grove; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Donald Spencer; and sisters, Merle Gray, Eileen Collins, Mary June Wilcoxon, and Ruth Zeimer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Chuck Fidler officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may visit from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
