Jeanette S. Mckinley

Jeanette S. McKinley, 63, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Pickering House in Lancaster.  She was born August 28, 1954 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Wiley Eugene and Laura Jane Bownes Woltz. She was married for almost 43 years to Ray McKinley of Logan, who survives.

She was a cook at the Hocking Hills Diner for many years.

In addition to her husband, Jeanette is survived by her children, Melinda (Shawn) Day of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, Jeremy McKinley of Magnolia and Emily McKinley of Logan; daughter-in-law, Tami McKinley; grandchildren, Cody McKinley, Peyton Pierce and Caleb Pierce; brothers, Terry “Moose” (Crystal) Woltz and Steve (Kimberly) Woltz both of Logan; sisters, Gloria Gabriel of Logan and Sharon (Rick) Donahue of Hilliard and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frederick, Todd and Gary Woltz; sister, Carol Anne Woltz and brother-in-law, Kris Gabriel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Dave Sherman officiating. Interment will be at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the McKinley family requests that contributions in memory of Jeanette S. McKinley be made to the American Cancer Society, 555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43017.
