Jeffery Todd "J.T." Knotts Jr.

Jeffery Todd “J.T.” Knotts Jr., 21, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, in Chillicothe.  He was born November 17, 2000, in Gallia County, Ohio, the son of Lindsey Marie (Robert) Damron and Jeffery Todd Knotts Sr.

J.T. was proud to have served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corps, where he was trained as a combat engineer.  J.T. loved his family, he loved animals, and was happy to help anyone.  He had a million dollar smile and he enjoyed reading his Bible.

In addition to his parents, J.T. is survived by his sisters, Leah Knotts and Lilly Damron; brothers, Robert James Lyons Damron, Brian Knotts, Ronald Damron, and Ryan Damron; grandparents, Robert Lyons and Karen Knotts; great grandfather, Harry Hoskinson; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Polley, Kaylee Parsons, Bryan VanDyke, and Paul & Lori Hoskinson; and many cousins and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sherryl Lyons and Ronald Knotts; and great grandparents, Phyllis Hoskinson and Orville & Betty Lyons Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Tim Kelly officiating.  Friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
