Jeffrey Alan Young

Jeffrey Alan Young, 64, of Hamden, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at his residence. He was born June 17, 1960, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Gayle Rose Young and the late Charles Henry Young. 

Jeff retired from Kroger as a department manager and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He is survived by his mother; sister, Judy (Lin) Dodrill of McArthur; niece, Lauren Bishop McCune of Logan; great niece, Zoa McCune and great nephew, Quentin Smith. 

In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by infant brother, David Keith Young and brother-in-law, Dennis Bishop. 

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2024, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
