Jerry "Randy" Randall Dupler

Jerry Randall Dupler, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, following an extended illness.  Randy was born on May 4,1961, in Logan, Ohio to Jerry and the late Neva Nell Dupler.

Randy attended Rockbridge Elementary, Logan Jr High School and graduated from Logan High School in 1979.  He was a former employee of Jack Helm Ford and retired from the United States Postal Service.  Randy loved old cars, country music, Elvis Presley, telling jokes, soaking up the sun on the beach and spending time with his family and friends.  We will sure miss our Goofball. Randy was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor.  Randy was generous, loyal and brave.

Besides his dad, Randy leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Suzie Dupler-Telle; his sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and John Owen; his nephews, Daniel and Ethin Telle; and his dad’s fiancé, Joan Irwin. Also missing him terribly are several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his many dear friends.

In addition to his mom, Randy was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Ed Telle; his nephew, Steven Telle; his grandparents, John & Anna Coomer and Jerry & Leona Conners; and his faithful companion, Luna.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6935 Township Road 234, Logan, with JD Coomer and Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating.  Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County.  Visitation will be held in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
