Jessica Lynn Blake

Jessica Lynn Blake, 38, of Glouster, passed away Saturday August 31, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born July 25, 1981 in Logan, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Lawson Smathers and Sherl Collene Conley of Nelsonville.

She was a member of Nelsonville First Christian Church.  She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.

Along with her mother, Jessica is survived by daughters, Cassidy Collene Blake and Lori Lynn Bridgeman; best friend and companion, Andrew Bentley; brothers, Richard (Jennifer) Clemons of Wisconsin, Christopher (Stephanie) Clemons of Nelsonville and Jonathan (Jennifer) Smathers of Glouster; sisters, Melissa Clemons of Louisiana and Joni (J.D.) Adkins of Nelsonville; many nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Quentin Russell Blake.

It was Jessica’s wish to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
