Jessica Theresa Sha'Re Schneider

October 9, 1995 — February 5, 2018

Jessica Theresa Sha’re Schneider, 22, of Logan, passed away on February 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 9, 1995 in Dover, Delaware, the youngest of seven to Mark F. and Marilyn Sue Pack Schneider.

She was raised in Dover, Delaware and moved to Logan, Ohio in January of 2006.  She graduated from Logan High school and Tri County Career Center in pursuit of becoming an auto mechanic.

Jessica’s greatest passion was music. She loved to play her guitar and would sometimes write her own songs and put music to it. She truly believed that “music is to the soul as words are to the mind”. She loved playing with her nephews, Michael Tristen Aiden and Lincoln.  She also loved spending time with her siblings and her niece Ashley, who is more like another sibling than a niece. Cooking for and with her family brought her great joy. You could always tell if she had cooked because every dish in the house would get used. After a delicious meal she would love nothing more than to watch a movie with family. She could have fun on a big adventure like a road trip, having a dance party in the kitchen or playing tag in the rain. She enjoyed life and had a way of making it brighter for anyone around her. Selflessness was something that came naturally to her. If someone was in need she would give all that she had. She will be remembered for her courage in difficult times and a big heart that had no boundaries. Any faults she had she would own up to, no matter how ugly, and because of that she will also be remembered for her blunt honesty. A most admirable quality.

To try to sum up her life in a few paragraphs would never do her justice. However, if there was a word to help describe her in full it would be beauty and it ran far deeper than her skin and carried her free spirit through her time here with us.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by siblings, Terry (Shannon) Atkins of Rockbridge, Joshua Atkins of Columbus, Nathaniel (Melissa) Atkins of Logan, Michael Sears of Hawaii, Michelle Prater of Sugar Grove, Melissa Schneider of Sugar Grove; nieces, Ashley Atkins, Skylynn Hopkins and Kallie Atkins; nephews, Michael Prater, Tristen Godinez, Aiden Godinez, Lincoln Atkins and Caeleb Atkins; paternal grandparents Cliff and Terry Schneider of North Carolina; aunts, Judy Pack, Debbie Hammet, Cynthia Stone, Mary Sharratt, Carol Mast, Melanie Stone and Cheri Dowe; uncles, Gene Pack, Darren Pack, Bryan Pack, Keith Schneider and David Schneider and many cousins.

Jessica was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Jane Jarboe; grandfather, Raymond Pack; aunts, Rayette Butler, Jennifer Schneider and Kim Pack; cousins, Dean Atkins and Tyler Pack.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Michael Hurst officiating.  Interment will be at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.  Friends may call from Friday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
