Jilda "Jill" Ann Wallace

Jilda “Jill” Ann Wallace, 57, of Athens, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born June 17, 1960 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Walter Kenneth and Anna Novella Thomas Wallace.

Jill was a special needs caregiver and a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur.  She was an avid fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Ohio University Bobcat Basketball and the Southern Ohio Copperheads.

She is survived by her brother, Walter “Walt” (Theresa) Wallace of Lewis Center; nephews, Woody and Vaughn Wallace and her beloved cat, Angus

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Elder Chuck Fri officiating.  Private burial will be held in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, at a later date.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
