JoAnn Woolum, 81, of Glouster, ascended to heaven June 21 st , 2022, to receive her much anticipated hug from Jesus. JoAnn was the best mother in the whole world and a friend to all. JoAnn and her late husband, Charles Ray Woolum, agreed to meet on the moon when it was her turn to leave her earthly body. She was also looking forward to a glorious reunion with her mother and father, Vernon and Virginia Smith; her grandparents, Mommy and Daddy Conard; nephew, Pastor Rocky Brown; and son-in-law, Earl Stormy Neal.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Shane (Tonya) Zornes of Warsaw, Clara (Scott) Speigle of Pensacola, Florida, and Deborah (Brian) Eubank of Proctorville; Ray Woolum’s children; grandchildren, Ryan Zornes, Regina (Nathan) Durben, and Jenna Eubank; great grandchildren, Josie Zornes, Nolan Zornes, and Elliot Durben; and sister, Barbara (Darrell) Wiegert.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Jason Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
