John P. Burns

John Burns, 93, of Logan, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2022, surrounded by his family.  He was born to Martha and John Burns in Columbus, Ohio on July 9, 1928.

John was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army and a member of IBEW 683.  He retired from the State of Ohio.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Greenberg and Amy Mahan and his granddaughters, Emily and Taylor.

John is preceded in death by his best friend, Micki Samson; grandson, Sam; brother, Richard and sister, Patricia.

Thank you to his friends for filling his life with fun times, laughter and listening to his jokes.

A military graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan by the Hocking County Honor Guard.  Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
