John William Henry Jr.

John William Henry Jr., 72, of Chauncey, formerly of Nelsonville,  passed away Thursday March 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1947 in Newport, Kentucky, the son of the late John and Jane Ohmer Henry Sr.  He was married to the late Rose M. (Waddell) Henry and Kathy Henry.

He worked as a Custodian for the City of Nelsonville.  Member of The House of Prayer and Praise in Jacksonville where he will be sadly missed.

He is survived by brother, Jerry Henry of Chillicothe; sister, Carol Hogan of Kentucky; special niece and nephew, Tina (James) Bailey of Nelsonville .

Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor James Bailey officiating.  Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
