John Christopher "Chris" Pratt

John Christopher “Chris” Pratt, 53, of McArthur, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at The Laurels of Athens.  He was born December 8, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio, son of John S. Pratt of Zaleski and the late Cynthia Jean Molihan Pratt.

He was the Owner and Operator of Pratt’s Concrete Placement.  Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in McArthur.  He enjoyed hunting mushrooms in the Spring and Fishing.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Along with his father, Chris is survived by a son, Braxton Pratt of McArthur; daughter, Keirstin Pratt of Oak Hill; brothers, Brian Pratt of Columbus and Chad (Mandy) Pratt of McArthur; sister, Cindy (Jeremy) Pratt of Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 15, 2021 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with the Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Madison Township Cemetery, Zaleski.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home where an FOE service will take place at 6:30 p.m.
