John T. Smith

John T. Smith, 82, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at his residence.  He was born April 19, 1936 in Hocking County, son of the late William F. and Thelma Louise Davis Smith.  John was married to Carol Tolliver Smith, who survives.

He was retired as a supervisor for Quacker State Oil, was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and was also a life member of the Logan Amvets.

John is survived by his sons, Danny and Darrin Smith; daughters, Lisa and Martha Smith; granddaughter, Lauren Smith; brothers, Dean and Kenny Smith and special nephew, Bill Stevens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Ray, Jim and Darrell Smith and sisters, June Wine, Joan Saunders, Wilma Kuhn, Betty Stevens, Mary Rittgers and Nancy Williams.

Services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan,
